The Forge is located deep within Kamiagata Province, surrounded by steep cliffs and dense forests that provide natural cover for approaching from multiple angles. Historically significant as the island's main armory, it was a critical target for the Mongols to secure early in their campaign to sustain their supply lines. Visitors will find several hidden collectibles scattered throughout the facility, including Spirit Stones tucked away in upper walkways and scrolls detailing the history of smithing hidden in abandoned offices. The area is heavily guarded by Mongol patrols, requiring stealth or combat prowess to navigate safely. During the invasion, the landscape changes drastically; once an open workshop, it becomes a fortified prison with heavy gates and watchtowers. Liberating the Forge involves freeing the enslaved workers, destroying Mongol supply caches, and reclaiming the furnaces, turning the site from a symbol of oppression back into a beacon of resistance.
