The wind howled through the pines of Kamiagata as Jin crouched low, his breath steady. Three Mongol scouts crested the ridge, their armor light and their blades eager. He did not raise his katana high; instead, he let his body follow the draft, stepping forward with a blur of motion. The first scout fell before his sword even cleared its sheath, a single cut severing the threat. As the others turned in confusion, Jin was already among them, a whirlwind of steel that left no time for fear or defense.

The Wind Stance is the go-to technique for engaging unarmored enemies and scouts who rely on speed over durability. To activate it, hold down the stance button and select the wind icon, which shifts your character into a lighter, faster posture. Mechanically, this stance excels at breaking the guard of light-footed foes quickly. While other stances might struggle to stagger these agile targets, Wind Stance deals increased damage specifically to them, allowing for rapid execution chains. It is most effective in open fields or forest clearings where enemies can be isolated. Upgrades are unlocked by progressing through the story and finding specific Spirit Stones scattered across Tsushima.
